The Armory is a one and two story steel framed building of 164,171 SF.  It was designed to house, train and mobilize 1300 National Guard members in 15 units.  The Armory consists of a drill hall, emergency operations center, indoor rifle range, exercise room, medical area, security area, administrative, supply and kitchen areas.  Offices for 200 personnel in OTAG (Office of the Adjutant General) were added by change order.
