The Redmond High School project involves the construction of all new school buildings and playfields on the existing 40-acre campus, and the subsequent demolition of the existing buildings.  Lake Washington School District will continue to use the existing buildings during the construction phase, which is expected to last through the early spring of 2003.

The new campus of buildings will be approximately 210,000 square feet, replacing 200,000 square feet of existing buildings and portables.  The playfields will be upgraded, retaining the existing stadium, grandstands, and bleachers.  The overall project is expected to be complete in the summer if 2003.
